Baltimore, MD (January 9, 2009) - The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is announcing that all MARC Train tickets to the Inauguration are sold out. Customers are strongly encouraged to use the MTA’s special Commuter Bus service to Metrorail on Inauguration Day. Commuter Bus shuttles will operate between 5:30am and 10:30 am from selected park and ride locations listed below and the DC Metrorail with fifteen-minute intervals. Return trip service will resume at 4:00pm until 9pm. Reservations are not required and customers can purchase their round trip tickets onboard Inauguration Day. Tickets are $10.00 and customers must have exact change. MTA Inaugural Day Commuter Bus Park & Ride locations:
Frederick(Monocacy Park & Ride) to Shady Grove every 15 minutes
Columbia (Broken Land Park & Ride) to Greenbelt every 15minutes
Scaggsville/Burtonsville to Silver Spring every 15 minutes
Annapolis to New Carrollton every 15 minutes
Kent Island to New Carrollton every 15 minutes
Prince Frederick/Dunkirk to Branch Avenue every 15 minutes
Upper Marlboro to Branch Avenue every 15 minutes
Charlotte Hall to Branch Avenue every 15 minutes
Waldorf (Blue Crabs Stadium) to Branch Avenue every 10 minutes
