MDOT’s Office of Minority Business Enterprise conducts a free monthly workshop for firms interested in applying for certification as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and/or Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE).
The workshops are held the first Tuesday of every month at MDOT Headquarters in Hanover, MD and include a comprehensive overview of the application process. Participants have the opportunity to meet with a certification expert one-on-one and ask questions that are specific to his/her company. Whether you have just started the application or would like to have it reviewed before submitting it, this workshop is for you. It’s also a great starting point for firms that are determining if MBE/DBE/ACDBE certification is right for you. In addition to the monthly workshops conducted in the morning, four evening sessions are also available. In March, June, September and December, the application assistance workshop will be repeated in the evening starting at 5:30 p.m. Be sure to select your preferred time when registering for these months.
