This document is Maryland’s Consolidated Transportation Program (CTP), the State’s six-year capital budget for transportation projects. The Capital Program includes projects for the Maryland Department of Transportation and the modal agencies within the department, including the Maryland Aviation Administration, the Motor Vehicle Administration, the Maryland Transit Administration, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit, the State Highway Administration and the Maryland Port Administration. It also includes projects undertaken by the Maryland Transportation Authority. An expanded description is shown for each major project, along with a list of minor capital projects. Working together with Maryland’s citizens, local jurisdictions and local delegations, projects are added to the CTP which enhance transportation service and opportunities throughout the State. In order to help Maryland’s citizens review this document, a summary of the Department’s financing and budgeting process and how to read each Project Information Form (PIF) is included.
