WHAT IS THE BICYCLE & PEDESTRIAN MASTER PLAN?

The Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan (BPMP):

  • Establishes a 20-year vision for bicycling and walking as transportation in Maryland,
  • Provides guidance and investment strategies to support bicycling and walking, and
  • Is updated every five years in coordination with the Maryland Transportation Plan

There is no cost to attend, but registration is requested and instructions will be provided soon. The Goals and Objectives from the 2014 BPMP are being updated in response to survey results. Thanks to all who participated. Proposed updated goals and objectives for the 2019 Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan will be unveiled at this 3/28 meeting
